It is a hybrid between Cymbidium Ruby Eyes and Cymbidium canaliculatum, registered by Paradisia Nurs. in 1996. This cultivar produces golden-yellow flowers with rich red suffusion and a contrasting lip heavily spotted with burgundy, making it well suited to pot culture in cool to temperate climates.
