Tolumnia (Oncidium) – Mixed Colour Mericlones (Flowering Size)
A beautiful selection of Tolumnia orchids, also known as the “Equitant Oncidiums”. These compact orchids are admired for their brilliant, butterfly-like flowers that appear on slender arching spikes. Colours vary across shades of pink, red, yellow, orange, and patterned combinations — all grown from mericlones but now separated from their original tags.
Each plant has a minimum of two mature growths and a new lead, and is fully flowering size. These are vigorous, well-established plants ready to bloom in the next season under suitable conditions. Sold as mixed colour selections — growers’ choice.
Care
- Light: Bright, filtered light. Tolerates early morning or late afternoon sun.
- Temperature: Warm to intermediate (16–28 °C). Protect from cold below 10 °C.
- Water: Water thoroughly, allowing the mix to dry slightly between waterings. Avoid constant wetness.
- Humidity: Prefers 50–70% humidity with good air circulation.
- Media: Free-draining orchid bark mix, or mount on cork or tree fern for best airflow around roots.
- Feeding: Apply weak liquid orchid fertiliser weekly during active growth; reduce in winter.
