Calibanus hookeri – Caudiciform Collector Plant (One-Off Specimens)
A slow-growing and highly distinctive caudiciform species from Mexico, prized for its swollen woody base and fountain of fine blue-grey leaves. Each plant develops its own character over time, making every specimen unique.
These are genuine one-off plants from our old stock, offered in a full range of sizes. Once these are gone, we do not expect replacements for a long time.
Please note: A couple of the larger plants have split nursery pots due to the size and pressure of the caudex. This is cosmetic only and not a plant health issue. Simply repot when convenient.
Care
- Light: Bright light to full sun. Best with strong light for compact growth.
- Water: Water thoroughly during active growth, then allow to dry between watering.
- Winter: Reduce watering significantly in cooler months.

- Media: Very free-draining cactus or succulent mix.
